What does this check read?
The page's own HTML source. A pixel that a tag manager adds only after the page loads may not show here, so confirm with Meta Pixel Helper.
Why would a pixel load twice?
Usually an app and the theme both add it, or the pixel was pasted in manually after an app was installed.
Does it prove the pixel fires?
No. It shows the code is present. The full audit loads the page in a real browser and checks that the page-view event is sent.
