Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use CROMagnet, either through the free audit or with an account. By running an audit or creating an account you agree to them.

The service
CROMagnet scans the public pages of an online store in a real browser and scores them with a fixed set of checks. The result is a Store Health Score, a list of findings and fix guidance. We read what any visitor can see. We never ask for, and you should never send us, admin access to a store.
The audit is automated. Findings and scores are guidance and are not a guarantee of any revenue, ranking or conversion result.
Free audits
You can run a free audit of any public store without an account. A free report shows the more important findings in each group and says how many it holds back. The score is calculated from every finding either way.
Only audit stores you own, manage, or have a reason to review. The audit makes ordinary page requests of the kind a visitor makes, and you are responsible for the stores you point it at.
Accounts and teams
You create an account by paying for a plan or by accepting an invitation. You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your password safe, and for the people you invite. Account owners decide which sites each member can see.
Give us accurate information. We can suspend an account that is used to attack a site, to overload the service, or in breach of these terms.
Plans, billing and renewal
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. A yearly plan is charged once for eleven months and covers twelve. Plans renew automatically until you cancel.
Each plan has limits on audits, sites and seats, shown on the pricing page. Limits apply per billing period. If you change plan or cancel, the change takes effect from the next billing period, and you keep access until the period you paid for ends.
Prices are shown before checkout. We may change prices for future periods and will tell you before a renewal at a new price.
Refunds
Every paid plan has a 7-day money-back guarantee. The details are on the refund policy page.
Your reports and shared links
Reports you create belong to your account. You can share a report by link, with an optional password and view limit, and on plans that include it through the client portal. Anyone with a shared link can read that report, so share links with care.
On plans with white-label reports you may present reports under your own name and brand. Do not present a report in a way that misleads a client about what was checked.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to attack, overload or probe a site, to bypass rate limits, to resell raw access to the audit engine, or to scrape the service. Do not run audits at a volume that harms other customers or the stores being scanned.
Do not upload unlawful content, or use comments, logos or branding fields to impersonate another business.
Our content and your content
We own the service, the checks, the scoring rules and the written guidance. You may use the reports we produce for you for your own business or for your clients. You keep ownership of the logos, names and text you add.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. Checks and scoring change over time as we improve the audit, so reports made on different dates may not be directly comparable. We may update these terms, and will post the new date here.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or sales, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
Ending your use
You can cancel at any time from the billing page. You can delete a site, which also deletes its audits. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
