For store owners

Find what is costing your store sales and fix it in order.

You do not need to read a Lighthouse report. Paste your URL and get a score, the problems ranked by cost, and the change to make in your own platform.

Stores in our scans average 69 out of 100 across 180 audits.

In short

What does a store audit tell a store owner?

A store audit loads your home page and a product page in a real browser, runs 200+ checks against what it captured, and returns a 0 to 100 score with every failing check ranked by what it costs you. Each finding names the page or value behind it and the fix for your platform.

The problem

Where online stores lose sales without anyone noticing

01

The buy button sits below the first phone screen

On a 390 by 844 screen the shopper sees a title and a photo, scrolls to find the price, and some of them leave before they do.

02

The Meta Pixel loads and never fires

The script is on the page, so every installation check passes. No PageView request follows it, so your ads optimise against nothing.

03

Two Google Analytics properties report at once

An old property and a new one both collect from the same page, so sessions and revenue are counted twice and the numbers never match.

04

A home page that transfers 4MB

Large hero images and a stack of app scripts make the page slow on mobile data, which is where most of your traffic arrives.

05

Policy pages that shoppers cannot find

Returns and shipping terms hidden in a menu or missing from the footer cost trust at the exact moment someone is deciding to pay.

06

Product data that search engines cannot read

Without a machine-readable price and availability, your products are harder to show in search results and shopping surfaces.

What you get

What one audit gives you

A score by area

One Store Health Score from 0 to 100, plus a separate score for speed, conversion, trust, tracking and discovery. You see which area is pulling the number down.

Findings ranked by cost

Critical issues come first, then needs improvement, then what is already working. Start at the top and stop when you run out of time.

Evidence you can open

Each finding names the page, the element or the measured value it came from, so you can check it on your own store.

The report

A report that shows its work

Open any finding to see the page, element or measured value it came from. The Store Health Score is calculated from every finding, so the number reflects all of them, not only the ones shown first.

Scoring

Five areas, scored separately

Speed

Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint from real visitors, server response time, page weight, image formats and third-party script weight, taken from Google PageSpeed Insights.

Conversion and UX

Whether the price and buy button fit the first phone screen, how many angles the gallery shows, breadcrumbs, search, tap targets and what the first screen says the store sells.

Trust and policies

Returns, shipping, privacy and terms pages that shoppers can find, review ratings on the product page, a way to make contact and a store served over HTTPS.

Tracking and tech

Whether the Meta Pixel fires PageView, whether Google Analytics 4 collects, duplicate properties, double-loaded tags and a cookie consent mechanism.

Store discovery

Indexability, canonical URLs, Product structured data with a real price and availability, and what a shared link looks like.

200+

checks in total. Each area is scored on its own, then weighted into the single Store Health Score.

Fixes

What a fix looks like

Duplicate tracking

Two Meta Pixel snippets load on every page and events fire twice.

The fix

Keep the pixel that is connected to your ad account and remove the other snippet. The finding says which request fired twice.

Heavy home page

A 3.8MB home page with a full-width hero image and eleven app scripts.

The fix

Resize the hero to the width it displays at, then remove scripts from apps you no longer use.

Missing price data

The product page shows a price but publishes no Product offer in structured data.

The fix

Add price, currency and availability to the Product data so search engines can read them.

Comparison

Checking the store yourself, and checking it here

By hand

  • Open the store on your phone and look for problems you already know to look for
  • Run PageSpeed on the home page and read a score that covers loading only
  • Open developer tools to see whether the pixel fired
  • Guess which of the problems costs the most

With CROMagnet

  • 200+ checks run in about two minutes
  • Speed, conversion, trust, tracking and discovery scored on one 0 to 100 scale
  • The request, element or value behind each finding is shown
  • Findings ranked critical, needs improvement and good
How it works

How a store owner uses it

The audit works on a store you do not own, so the same steps apply to a competitor or a prospect.

01 Run the free audit

Paste your store address. The first audit needs no signup and no card, and nothing is installed on your store.

02 Read the critical issues

Start with the red group. Each one says what is wrong, where it was found and why it costs sales.

03 Follow the fix for your platform

Where a fix exists for Shopify or WooCommerce, the steps name the setting to open or the snippet to remove.

04 Run it again

After a change, run another audit. The report marks findings as fixed, new or regressed against the last run.

FAQs

Common questions

Something missing? Ask us.

001 Do I need a developer to act on the report?

Many fixes are settings or theme edits that a store owner can make. Each finding says which kind it is, so you can tell what to do yourself and what to hand to someone.

002 Will the audit change anything on my store?

No. It loads your public pages the way a visitor does and records what it sees. You never share admin access, and nothing is installed.

003 How long does an audit take?

About two minutes. The report link works as soon as the audit starts, so you can open it while the checks finish.

004 How is this different from Google PageSpeed?

PageSpeed scores loading performance. The Store Health Score also covers conversion basics, trust signals, tracking and discovery, so a fast store with no visible price on mobile still scores badly.

005 Is the free audit limited?

The free report shows the more important findings in each group and tells you how many it holds back. The score is calculated from every finding either way.

006 Can I audit a competitor?

Yes. The audit reads public pages, so any online store can be checked the same way.
